Founded in 1986, A.U.G. Signals Ltd. (AUG) has been dedicated to excellence in signal, image and data processing for over three decades. AUG provides superior solutions in signal, image and data processing (e.g. detection, recognition, tracking) for applications primarily in:

  • Safety, Security & Surveillance
  • Air/Water Quality Monitoring
  • Earth Observation
  • Intelligent Transport Systems

As a Lead, Business Development at AUG, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluate new markets and develop new business opportunities with compelling business propositions
  • Lead in the preparation of and development and implementation of multi-year business and marketing plans
  • Research, Prospect and Qualify leads
  • Form Strategic Alliances
  • Establish new distribution channels
  • Product positioning (Gather information on customers and competitors)
  • Pricing and Marketing strategy coordinating with the marketing team
  • Risk analysis
  • Handle interactions with external partners who are not sales prospects yet
  • Expand product scope/product line based on market needs
  • Strategic business plan

Required Skills:

  • Diploma or degree (business, marketing or communications) coupled with a minimum of 7+ years of professional experience preferably working in Strategic Commercialization role.
  • Passion for new product development
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization as well as to external partners and customers
  • Excellent teamwork, leadership and interpersonal skills and able to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
  • Ability to effectively deliver quality work with a sense of urgency and a high degree of attention to detail
  • Good judgement, critical thinking, time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Stellar client service skills along with the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as external parties


  • Experience working in an SME
  • Experience preparing responses to RFP/RFIs, customized pitch writings and presentations
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
