CSA smartEarth 2025: “AI-powered Satellite-based Approach for Freshwater Biodiversity and Risk Assessment”
A.U.G. Signals Ltd. is proud to announce our project “AI-powered satellite-based approach for freshwater biodiversity and risk assessment” has been selected for funding by the Canadian Space Agency for a new technology development project under the Satellite Mobilization for Biodiversity Action 2025.
The objective of our project is to build a web-based GIS software prototype using remote sensing data. The prototype to be developed will be capable of detecting algal blooms, measuring algae concentration, and comprehensively monitoring water quality.
This innovation will provide ground-breaking capabilities for managing and protecting Canada’s ecosystems, ensuring cleaner water for communities.
